You must fulfill the following requirements:

	Meet Canadian citizenship requirements.
	Be at least 16 years old in year of enrolment.
	Have completed Grade 10 with minimum 15 credits.
	Meet Canadian Forces medical and enrolment standards.
	Be of good character.
	Be free of any legal or financial obligations.
	Be a challenge seeking, physically fit team player.
	Be fitness tested.

The 3 R's of Basic Training:

	Respect for Yourself.
	Respect for your Peers.
	Respect for Lawful Authority.

Bring with you:

	Your Birth Certificate.
	Your Social Insurance Card.
	A Transcript of your school marks.

You will be sent to a doctor for a medical examination.

You will be aptitude tested.

You will be interviewed.

The enrolment process normally takes about ten weeks from the initial application to a candidate being sworn-in. For general information check the Canadian Forces Recruiting site.
